LIVING A SANE LIFE
IN AN INSANE WORLD
By Jack Allis
Yes, we live in an insane world, and the world I’m talking about here is the civilized world of Western Civilization, which was born about 6000 years ago in Babylon. And this is nothing new. It’s been this way since the beginning because this world was built upon a foundation that was hideously out of balance with Mother Earth and the forces of nature. Such a world is unsustainable because it plunders the very environment that humanity needs to survive. How crazy is that? It was always inevitable that this world will collapse at some point, and we seem to have reached this point, as we can see the world crumbling around us every day. This world has become totally unplugged, as far as its connection with the flow of life’s vital energies, and so have its people, who live lives of sickness, alienation, despair and anxiety. As philosopher Erich Fromm once said, “Insanity is the only sane reaction to an insane world.”
It doesn’t have to be this way, for any of us. This is what I talk about in my books and DVD’s – how to create the new world from the ashes of the old in times of paradigm shift – and how to transform our world by transforming ourselves. Our crazy Western civilized world is one that was created for us by the powers who rule the world behind the scenes, for the purpose of keeping us in a state of unthinking bondage that strips us of our freedom and our spirit. It is not a world of our own choosing or of our own making or of our heart’s desire. The solution then, for those who want to live sanely, is to learn how to separate from this decadent, crazy world, and break free from it, begin to take steps to create your own world, one that’s how you want it to be, not somebody else.
When we talk about creating a new world, one that is sane, what are we talking about? A sane world is one that is sustainable, and one where the people, living in small communities, live in a way that is in harmony with Mother Nature and all of her forces. I realize this is probably quite a stretch for most of you, but what’s important here is these are the basic principles upon which our new world will be built. Our sane world must be one where we live in harmony with nature. Our most important tool in accomplishing this is our indigenous spirituality, which we learn from ancient indigenous traditions spanning the globe, including the Maya and the Hopi. These people all derived their spirituality from the same source, and this was their relationship with the forces of the natural world, and their entire way of living was devoted to serving this vast ecosystem, this web of life.
There are a couple of other essential tools to creating our own sane world. It you don’t have these tools in your tool chest, the craziness of the world will probably get the best of you. One is learning the truth about how our world really works, as opposed to the monstrous lies we are spoon fed by the entire mainstream system, most significantly the media and the government. In fact, the old paradigm civilized world is owned and controlled by a tiny group of the world’s wealthiest people, or beings, who operate entirely in secret, and who use their immense power to create a vast world of illusion that holds humanity under its sway. If you’re not aware of this illusion, you’re probably stuck in it. It is a prison for our body, mind, heart and spirit and a major block to reaching our full potential as multi-dimensional beings.
Once we learn about the deceit and manipulation of the old world, hopefully, we will feel morally and spiritually obligated not to be a part of that world anymore and to break free from it. Yes, this is a tall task for most of us, as this world has been embedded into the fibers of our being since we were small children. Breaking free from it takes work. It takes commitment. It takes launching ourselves on the path of personal growth and spiritual development. When we break free from the old world, we are left with a huge gap, and our job then becomes filling in this gap with a world of our making. And a critical tool in accomplishing this is reassuming complete responsibility for our own lives. We must begin to think for ourselves and act for ourselves, and our world begins to become our own. And nobody does this all at once. It is a process, taking place over time, and we must be patient with the process.
When you launch upon this path, one of the wonderful things you learn is you are not only taking steps to live sanely in an insane world, but you are also playing your part in changing this insane world, and replacing it with one that resonates with the proper energy. When enough of us wake up to the truth and break free from the illusion, then we will have the power to change the world. The old paradigm needs us to prop it up, to support it. When enough of us don’t, it will collapse. And this is a good thing because this system is too decadent and sinister to be reformed from within. And then anything can happen. Our current dire situation, where the world is held in bondage, is transformed into a magnificent opportunity for meaningful positive change.
